Martial arts trainer Henry Agallar recently discussed why martial arts are beneficial for kids.
CALEDONIA, WI / APRIL 18, 2022 / Henry Agallar is a skilled martial arts instructor with more than 11 years dedicated to his craft. His expertise is in Brazilian jiujutsu and NoGi Grappling, but he has helped countless kids and adults excel in mixed martial arts and wrestling. Agallar recently discussed why martial arts is mentally and physically beneficial for kids of all ages.
Many coaches and education experts suggest participation in sports for building a child’s self-confidence. They develop physical capabilities they often didn’t know they had and receive encouragement from fans, teammates, and coaches.
The martial arts belt-ranking system is a visual representation of the skills a child learns. It is a system that encourages kids to face obstacles, overcome them, and enjoy a reward for their success.
Physical fitness is essential to a happy and healthy life. Practicing martial arts is fun, and it teaches kids at a young age that exercise isn’t something to be dreaded. Martial arts classes also encourage kids to socialize with others. They support each other in practice and competition. Many times, the relationships kids build through martial arts last a lifetime.
Henry Agallar explained that martial arts disciplines are about conflict resolution at their core. Brazilian jiu-jitsu, NoGi Grappling, karate, wrestling, judo, and others can protect your child now and later in life. These disciplines teach kids how to deal with conflicts involving bullies and other harmful individuals in school and beyond. They learn the skills needed to prevent potential harm and resolve conflict safely.
Parents with kids in martial arts quickly notice a difference in the child’s self-control, discipline, and respect. These disciplines are centuries old, and traditions of respecting instructors run deep. Martial arts teach kids to respect their elders and turn excess energy or anger into motivation. A child committed to martial arts learns that discipline and hard work always result in a reward.
Agallar is one of the most respected martial arts instructors in Wisconsin. He dedicates much of his life to helping kids and adults face the challenges of martial arts and find success.
“Martial arts are rigorous disciplines,” Agallar said. “I enjoy helping kids of all ages and abilities learn to overcome challenges through dedication and a willingness to learn new skills.”
Agallar encourages parents to enroll their little ones in martial arts and let the kids decide for themselves if it’s something they want to pursue.… Read More...
